Engineered specifically for the demands of gravel rally competition, the Ksport Rally Spec GR Type coilover system offers enhanced durability and performance. This kit features a longer stroke design, ensuring robust operation over challenging terrain. With 36 levels of damping adjustment, users can precisely tune both compression and rebound simultaneously for optimal handling and ride comfort. The internal valving is carefully matched to the installed springs, ensuring a high level of ride quality and reliability. The system employs a Monotube design, which separates oil and gas to improve heat dissipation, allow for finer damping adjustments, and minimize aeration and cavitation compared to twin-tube designs. The steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc for superior rust and element resistance, while many aluminum components are crafted from 6061 billet aluminum for a lightweight yet durable and rust-resistant construction. For vehicles utilizing McPherson suspension, the Gravel Rally kits include inverted shocks and steel lower/top mounts. Conversely, vehicles with wishbone or multi-link suspension will receive standard non-inverted shocks with aluminum top mounts. Note that camber top mounts are not available for the Gravel Rally kits. Height adjustment is managed through an adjustable lower mount, a design that avoids compromising suspension travel, unlike some other coilover systems. Due to the inherently harsh nature of gravel rally racing, Ksport does not offer a warranty on these specific kits. This coilover system is designed to fit the 1988 Honda Civic and 1988 Honda CR-X (EF chassis), specifically featuring an eyelet rear shock mount. Spring rates are set at 7K for the front and 4.5K for the rear.
