The Ksport Rally AR Spec coilover system is engineered specifically for the demands of asphalt rally competition. This kit features an extended stroke and heavy-duty internals to withstand aggressive driving conditions. With 36 levels of adjustable damping, drivers can precisely tune their vehicle's handling and ride comfort, as compression and rebound are adjusted simultaneously for ease of use. Constructed with 6061 billet aluminum for many components, this coilover kit offers a lightweight yet durable and rust-resistant solution. The steel shock body is electroplated with zinc for enhanced protection against the elements. Ksport utilizes a Monotube design, which separates oil and gas to improve heat dissipation, allow for finer damping adjustments, and reduce aeration and cavitation compared to twin-tube designs, resulting in a superior ride quality and consistent performance. Pillow ball top mounts are included on many applications to help maintain original suspension geometry and provide a more direct driver response, while also offering camber adjustability. Most applications feature an adjustable lower mount, allowing for ride height adjustments without sacrificing suspension travel. The valving within each set is carefully matched to the specific springs used, ensuring optimal ride quality and reliability. The system is designed to allow vehicles to achieve OEM height levels, with the ability to lower up to 3 inches from OEM level, which can be important for complying with rally event ride height regulations. This Ksport Rally AR Spec coilover kit is designed for the 1997-2001 Mitsubishi Mirage CA4A. The front spring rate is 10 kg/mm, and the rear spring rate is 8.7 kg/mm. The front top mounts are pillowball with camber adjustment, while the rear top mounts are aluminum without camber adjustment.
