Constructed with performance and durability in mind, the Kontrol Pro coilovers utilize 6061 billet aluminum for mounts and many components, ensuring a lightweight yet robust build resistant to rust. Steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc to withstand harsh environmental conditions. The kit incorporates pillowball top mounts on many applications, facilitating installation to OEM specifications and providing camber adjustment capabilities. The use of an adjustable lower mount is a key feature, enabling ride height customization without compromising suspension travel, a common issue with other coilover designs. Internally, the Ksport Kontrol Pro system employs a Monotube design. This advanced construction separates oil and gas within the cylinder, leading to faster and more even heat dissipation compared to traditional twin-tube setups.
