This kit offers 36 distinct damping levels, allowing precise tuning of both compression and rebound to match driving conditions and personal preferences. It's an enhanced version of the Kontrol Pro series, featuring 30% stiffer damping and spring rates for a more performance-oriented feel. Constructed with durability and weight savings in mind, most components, including mounts, are crafted from 6061 billet aluminum, ensuring a lightweight, strong, and rust-resistant assembly. The steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection against corrosion and the elements. The monotube design employed by Ksport separates oil and gas, which leads to more efficient heat dissipation, finer damping control, and reduced aeration and cavitation for consistent ride quality, even under demanding use. Many applications include pillowball top mounts, offering camber adjustment and simplifying installation to OEM specifications. Some advanced applications even provide separate camber and caster adjustment for ultimate tuning potential. The adjustable lower mount allows for ride height adjustment without compromising suspension travel, a common issue with other coilover systems. Designed with professional road racing in mind, the Kontrol Sport Coilover system aims to provide optimal performance and ride quality tailored to the specific spring rates and vehicle dynamics.
