Kontrol Sport Coilover Kit

The Ksport Kontrol Sport Coilover System is engineered for the 1999-2003 BMW M5 E39, providing advanced suspension technology for both street and track use. This system features 36 levels of simultaneous compression and rebound damping adjustment, allowing for precise tuning to balance handling and comfort. The front pillowball top mounts include camber adjustment, while the rear utilizes aluminum mounts without camber adjustment. Constructed from durable and lightweight 6061 billet aluminum, the components resist rust and the elements. The steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc for added protection. Ksport employs a monotube design, which enhances heat dissipation, allows for finer damping adjustments, and offers more consistent performance compared to twin-tube systems by separating oil and gas to prevent aeration and cavitation. This coilover system offers independent height adjustability through its lower mounts, preventing the loss of suspension travel common in other systems. The spring rates are specifically matched to the shock valving for optimal ride quality and reliability, making it suitable for professional road racing applications.
