Constructed with 6061 billet aluminum for mounts and most components, these coilovers are lightweight, durable, and resistant to rust. The steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc for corrosion resistance against the elements. Ksport utilizes a Monotube design, which separates oil and gas to dissipate heat more effectively, allow for finer damping adjustments, and reduce issues like aeration and cavitation, resulting in more consistent ride quality. These coilovers are designed with professional road racing in mind. Applications may include pillowball top mounts in the front and rear, which can allow for installation and setup to OEM specifications. Ksport's patented upper pillowball mount provides adjustability and performance while allowing for necessary compliance in high-demand strut applications. Some models offer integrated camber adjustment through the pillowball upper mounts, eliminating the need for a separate camber kit. For ultimate adjustability, an advanced upper pillowball mount option is available on select applications, enabling separate camber and caster adjustments. The majority of applications feature an adjustable lower mount, allowing for ride height adjustment without compromising suspension travel, a common issue with other coilover systems. The valving of each shock or strut is precisely matched to its corresponding spring rate to ensure superior ride quality and reliability.
