The Ksport Kontrol Sport Coilover Kit (CSB140-SP) is a fully adjustable suspension system engineered for performance driving, particularly road racing. Building upon the Kontrol Pro platform, this kit features a 30% increase in damping and spring rates, providing a more aggressive and direct feel while maintaining tunability and acceptable ride quality. Key features include a monotube, high-pressure shock design that utilizes separated oil and gas chambers. This construction method enhances heat dissipation, allows for precise 36-way simultaneous compression and rebound adjustments, and minimizes aeration and cavitation for consistent performance. The spring perches, locking collars, and top mounts are machined from durable 6061-T6 billet aluminum, while the steel shock bodies are zinc electroplated for superior corrosion resistance. Each shock is specifically valved to match its corresponding spring rate for optimal performance and reliability. Some applications offer independent camber and caster adjustment directly through the pillowball mount, potentially eliminating the need for additional camber kits. Ride height is adjustable via an integrated system that includes an adjustable lower mount and, on vehicles with separate rear shocks and springs, adjustment at the spring perch and lower shock mount. This design aims to maximize suspension travel, a common limitation in competing coilover systems.
