Description

The Hondata KPRO V4 ECU serves as a programmable solution for engine swaps, specifically utilizing the 2002-2004 Acura RSX base automatic ECU (part numbers 37820-PND-A51 to A59 or 37820-PND-A306). This unit is intended solely for engine swap applications. To integrate this ECU, the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) signal wire (typically white/green, wire A18) must be depinned from the RSX wiring harness and connected to the K-Pro 4 board's VS input, which is typically red and marked on the board. A starting value of 2485 pulses per km should be set in the KPro parameters under Misc, though this may require adjustment based on specific gear ratios and tire sizes. It is important to note that this PND ECU, when used with the K-Pro 4, will not support the reverse lockout solenoid on 6-speed transmissions. Additionally, this ECU is not compatible with automatic transmissions; it is specifically for engine swaps.
