KPro V4 Programmable ECU System

The Hondata KPro V4 ECU package is a specialized programmable engine control unit for the 2000-2005 Honda S2000. This system is adapted from an Acura RSX PRB ECU and provides enhanced tuning capabilities, including wireless datalogging and tuning via Bluetooth connectivity. It supports features such as factory reliability, easy starting, normal dash water temperature display function, injector re-calibration, mapped boost tables, nitrous control, and datalogging. To utilize the KPro V4 with the S2000, customers must supply their own PRB ECU (specifically A01-A12 models in perfect working order) for conversion. This package is an upgrade service and does not include the core ECU itself. Additionally, specific mechanical modifications are required, including the replacement of the crank and cam sensors, crank wheel, TDC sensor, TDC wheel, valve cover, drain plug washer, PCV valve, and potentially the IAT sensor with 2006-2007 Honda S2000 equivalents. These parts are not supplied by Hondata and typically cost between $300-$375. This product is for racing vehicles only and is not legal for use on public highways in the USA. The S2000 immobilizer is not supported by this ECU. While the S2000 dash water temperature display functions normally, specific settings in KManager are required for optimal performance, such as selecting 'Use alternate AC switch input' and 'Use Secondary Oxygen Sensor for Primary' for the closed-loop system. The S2000 ECU's mounting holes are not in the same location as the PRB ECU, but a mounting bracket is supplied. All Hondata KPro sales are final once the product has been received due to the nature of tuning devices.
