KSS6704 6-3/4" Component Speaker System

The Kicker 47KSS6704 KS Series component speaker system offers a significant audio upgrade from factory speakers. This system includes two 6-3/4" woofers with polypropylene cones and rubber surrounds, along with two 1" silk dome tweeters designed for smooth sound reproduction. These speakers are capable of handling up to 125 watts RMS (250 watts peak power) and feature an impressive frequency range of 35-21,000 Hz with a sensitivity of 91 dB. The external crossover network allows for 3 levels of tweeter output adjustment (0, +4.5, +9 dB), enabling you to tailor the sound to your vehicle's acoustics. The tweeters can be mounted separately or in place of the woofer's phase plug, offering installation flexibility for a coaxial setup. With a low mounting depth of 1-7/8", these speakers are designed for easy installation in a wide variety of vehicles, often fitting behind factory grilles. The system includes refined black grilles for a custom look. While they can produce substantial volume from factory radios, Kicker recommends an aftermarket amplifier for optimal performance.
