KW HLS Audi R8

The KW HLS (Hydraulic Lift System) 2 is a complete coilover kit with Variant 3 coilovers designed for the Audi R8 Spyder (Type 42). This advanced suspension system allows the vehicle to be hydraulically lifted by up to 45 millimeters at the front axle at the touch of a button, enabling it to clear speed bumps, steep driveways, and other obstacles without scraping. The system integrates with the vehicle's electronics, automatically lowering the car to its set ride height at a certain speed. The kit includes KW Variant 3 coilovers, known for their customized suspension lowering capabilities and advanced damper technology. Key features include wear-resistant composite spring seats with stainless steel inserts to prevent oxidation, and friction-optimized trapezoidal threads on the stainless steel (INOX-Line) struts for long-term ride height adjustability and corrosion resistance. The TVR-A (Twin Valve Rebound - Adjustable) technology provides enhanced ride comfort by allowing precise control of oil flow at low damper speeds, while the TCV-A (Twin Valve Compression - Adjustable) technology offers 12 precise clicks for adjusting compression stage damping, ensuring optimal handling and vehicle bracing. The system also comes with a technical component report for guidelines on lowering and vehicle inspection.
