The JVC KW-M740BT is a 2-DIN digital media receiver designed to enhance your in-car entertainment and connectivity. Its 6.8-inch Wide VGA Clear Resistive touchscreen provides a clear display for various functions, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing you to access navigation, music, and communication apps from your smartphone safely. This unit boasts built-in Bluetooth with support for Wideband Speech (HFP1.6), enabling clearer hands-free calls, and allows for two phones to be connected simultaneously. Enjoy your music library through various formats, including MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, FLAC, and even DSD via USB. High-resolution audio is supported, with JVC's K2 Technology working to restore original sound quality. For audio tuning, the KW-M740BT includes a 13-band graphic equalizer with 8 presets and 4 user-defined settings, along with features like Bass Boost, High-Pass/Low-Pass Filters, and Time Alignment. It also offers 3 pairs of preamp outputs for expanding your system, including a dedicated subwoofer output with level and frequency control. Installation is facilitated by its 2-DIN size and includes a rear USB port for media playback and charging (1.5A high current), as well as an AV input and a dedicated input for a rear-view camera. The customizable GUI and white key illumination add to the user-friendly interface.
