KW V1 CLASSIC KIT

The KW V1 INOX-LINE coilover kit is an entry-level street performance system featuring high-quality INOX-LINE stainless steel struts, corrosion-resistant springs, bump stops, and dampers. It's optimally tuned for a balanced, sporty feel specific to each vehicle. These coilovers allow for maximum lowering within an approved range, ensuring proper suspension function and travel. Ride height is easily adjustable via a dirt-resistant trapezoid thread and composite adjustment collar. The pre-configured setup balances sportiness and comfort. KW engineers develop vehicle-specific damper tuning and spring rates through extensive testing at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and the KW 7-post chassis dynamics test center. Unlike generic kits, KW coilovers are developed specifically for each vehicle using in-house resources, high-quality components, and proprietary damper technology. The V1 coilovers reduce body roll, leading to more direct and sporty handling. They feature composite spring perches made from wear-resistant, friction-optimized polyamide composite with a stainless-steel insert, preventing oxidation and maximizing strength. Elastomer bump stops with integrated dust protection systems prevent water and dirt from reaching the piston rod and seals, acting as dynamic load limiters while maintaining ride quality and durability. Every damper is dyno tested for functionality and accuracy. The Inox-Line stainless steel provides permanent corrosion resistance, and coatings will not wear off during adjustments, making KW coilover struts 100 percent corrosion resistant with an unlimited lifespan. KW V1 coilovers are hand-built in Fichtenberg, Germany, and come with a limited lifetime warranty (unlimited mileage).
