KXM Series KXMA1200.2 2-Channel Marine Amplifier

The Kicker KXM Series KXMA1200.2 is a 2-channel Class-D full-range marine amplifier designed to deliver robust audio performance in marine environments. This amplifier provides 300 watts RMS x 2 channels at 4 ohms and 600 watts RMS x 2 channels at 2 ohms, culminating in a total power output of 1200 watts. It features CEA-2006 compliance, conformal coated circuit boards, and marine compliant power terminals, ensuring durability and reliability on the water. This amplifier boasts a frequency response of 10 - 20,000 Hz and a signal-to-noise ratio of 95 dB, delivering clear and powerful sound. For precise audio tuning, it includes variable high-pass filters (10-500 Hz, 24 dB/octave) and variable low-pass filters (40-500 Hz, 24 dB/octave), along with a variable bass boost of 0 to +18 dB at 40Hz. Settings are protected behind a gasket-sealed door, and the unit features LED power and protect indicators, as well as a soft start turn-on. Installation is facilitated by speaker-level inputs and dual speaker terminals for easier hookup of multiple speakers. Fail-Safe Integration Technology (FIT) is included for simplified installation, and Kicker KISL speaker-to-RCA cables are recommended. A 150A external fuse is required, sold separately. The amplifier has a black anodized aluminum housing with a teal LED and a heavy-duty aluminum alloy heat sink. For optimal performance, 4-gauge power and ground wiring is recommended. The amplifier's dimensions are approximately 8-5/16" W x 11-3/16" L x 2-1/8" H.
