The KYB Strut-Plus is engineered to help restore the handling and control capabilities of your vehicle. We start with an Original Equipment (OE) Restoring KYB Strut. High carbon steel coil springs are developed considering vehicle attributes and corners weights to help make sure the ride height is restored within OE specifications.

The KYB Strut-Plus SR4527 is a complete corner unit assembly including the strut, mount, and spring. It is engineered to restore the handling and control capabilities of your vehicle, maintaining proper ride height within OE specifications. It includes a KYB Excel-G Gas Strut with a stronger steel outer shell and application-specific precision-designed damping valves. This product is designed for proper ride height and original handling capabilities on the Subaru Outback and is recommended for vehicles with electronic safety systems (ESC, ABS, etc.). A polyurethane boot and travel-limiting bumper protect the chrome strut shaft from debris (boot inclusion depends on the vehicle).
