It is designed to handle vehicle weight, determine ride height, act as the steering pivot, control vehicle stability, and can impact electronic crash avoidance systems. KYB, as an original equipment supplier, engineers these to restore the original equipment (OE) handling and control capabilities. The high carbon steel coil springs are developed considering vehicle attributes and corner weights to help ensure the ride height is restored within OE specifications.
