The Spoon Sports L.S.D. It functions by sensing differences in rotation speed and torque between the drive wheels, limiting the differential's action to ensure power is reliably transferred to the road. This kit features a 1.5-way mechanism, with an initial torque setting of 9-9.5 kg (cold).

The kit includes essential components such as side bearings, a meter gear, and mounting bolts for a more complete installation. It is compatible with CIVIC and INTEGRA models, specifically fitting EK9 early and late models, as well as DC2 Type R '96 Spec, DC2 Type R '98 Spec, DB8 Type R '96 Spec, and DB8 Type R '98 Spec, with B16B and B18C engine types.

The Spoon Sports L.S.D. When driving, the load on the drive wheels is constantly unequal. A standard differential can allow torque to escape to the wheel with less load, making precise braking in corners and controlling the vehicle during acceleration difficult. The L.S.D. kit addresses this by detecting differences in rotation speed and torque between the drive wheels, limiting the differential's action to effectively transfer traction to the road. This kit utilizes a user-friendly 1.5-way mechanical LSD mechanism, designed for ease of installation and maintenance. For AP1/AP2 models, a 1.75-way mechanism is employed. The initial torque is factory set at 9-9.5 kg when cold. It is important to note that, due to its mechanical nature, this LSD may produce pulling sounds, internal gear operation noises, or vibrations. Included with the kit are side bearings, a meter gear, and mounting bolts, providing a comprehensive solution for upgrading your vehicle's drivetrain. It is compatible with CIVIC and INTEGRA models, specifically fitting the EK9 (early and late models), DC2 Type R ('96 and '98 Spec), and DB8 Type R ('96 and '98 Spec). The engine types supported are the B16B and B18C.
