The Dan's Diesel 20-24 L5P Intake is a complete cold air intake system engineered for 2020-2024 L5P Duramax engines. This intake achieved an impressive 88% flow improvement over the stock system when tested on a flow bench, allowing your truck's engine to breathe more freely. This kit is designed as a true bolt-on upgrade, requiring zero tuning to function. However, many trucks will need the Air Filter Life System disabled. This is done by navigating the driver information center options, selecting 'info page options', ensuring 'air filter life' is checked, and then selecting the 'disable' option for air filter life. This step is necessary because the altered flow and size of the aftermarket intake are not calibrated within the factory system, and it will not function correctly without the OEM filter being disabled from the system. The Dan's Diesel 20-24 L5P Intake is compatible with 2020-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, 2020-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD, 2020-2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, and 2020-2024 GMC Sierra 3500 HD models equipped with the 6.6 Liter L5P Duramax diesel engine.
