MIA's Description

The Calibrated Power Intake Horn Anti-Surge Ring is a performance-enhancing component designed for L5P Duramax engines. It is recommended for use with an aftermarket open intake horn to improve turbocharger efficiency and prevent surge. The stock intake air horn on the L5P is known to neck down, creating a low-pressure zone that reduces turbo efficiency at high load. This anti-surge ring, when paired with an aftermarket air horn, helps keep the turbo inlet well-fed and prevents choking, especially with larger turbos like the Stealth 64 and Stealth 67G2.
