The GM Genuine Parts Engine Piston Kit is a direct stock replacement designed for 2018-2023 GM/Duramax L5P applications, including 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500 models. This comprehensive kit includes all necessary components for a single piston replacement: one GM OEM piston, one GM OEM complete ring set, one GM OEM wrist pin, and two GM OEM retaining clips. These parts are engineered and tested to rigorous General Motors standards, ensuring they meet the performance and durability specifications of the original equipment. Crucially, at this time, L5P pistons are only available in stock size, meaning this kit is intended for restoring an engine to its original specifications rather than for performance modifications that require oversized components.
