The Spelab Exhaust Header is engineered to enhance the performance and sound of 1960-1983 Ford and Mercury L6 engines. Constructed from durable stainless steel with a mirror polish finish, this header features individual pipes for each cylinder to ensure smoother exhaust flow and eliminate backpressure, a common issue with stock exhaust manifolds. This design contributes to increased horsepower, improved throttle response, and better overall engine efficiency. Key specifications include a 2.00" outlet size, 1 1/8" X 1 1/4" inlet size, and provisions for two O2 sensors. The head flange is 7/16" thick, and the outlet flange is 3/8" thick. It meets ISO9001:2000 standards, indicating a commitment to quality management. The header is compatible with a wide range of Ford and Mercury models equipped with L6 engines, including the Bronco, Econoline, Fairmont, Falcon, Granada, LTD, Mustang, Ranchero, Thunderbird, Capri, Comet, Cougar, Marquis, and Zephyr, across various years and engine displacements from 144 to 250 cid.
