Overview

The Chevrolet L77 is a 6.0L V8 crate engine assembly. This genuine GM Part, with the number 19256262, is a new, long engine. It includes the engine block, crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, piston rings, cylinder heads, camshaft, timing components, harmonic balancer, oil pump, valve covers, and oil pan.

This engine is designed as a direct replacement for L77 and L76 6.0L applications. It also suits L98 6.0L applications. It features Active Fuel Management (AFM/DOD) and is compatible with both automatic and manual transmissions. It is specified to fit VE, VF, WM, and WN models.

The Chevrolet L77 6.0L V8 crate engine assembly (part number 19256262) is a brand new, genuine GM Part. This "3/4 long" engine includes all essential internal and external components: engine block, crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons with rings, cylinder head assemblies with valve train, lifters, camshaft, timing gears and chain, timing chain dampener, front and rear covers, harmonic balancer, oil pump, valve covers, and oil pan. This engine is engineered as a direct replacement for L77 and L76 6.0L applications. It is also compatible with L98 6.0L engines, with a specific note to retain the supplied valley cover plate unless a full "DOD delete kit" is being installed. For L98 automatic applications, a re-tune may be necessary to link with the existing transmission control module (TCM). The L77 engine features Active Fuel Management (AFM/DOD) and is suitable for both automatic and manual transmissions. Users should be aware that this is a direct deposit only purchase, and specific payment methods apply.
