The Kicker 46L7T82 L7T subwoofer is engineered to deliver powerful bass performance even in vehicles with limited space, such as regular-cab pickups or two-seaters. Its innovative shallow-mount design requires only 2-3/4 inches of depth, allowing it to fit into locations where traditional subwoofers cannot, like under or behind seats. This 8-inch square subwoofer utilizes Kicker's SoloKon technology for its cone material and features a rigid steel basket for durability. The dual 2-ohm voice coils offer versatile wiring options to match your amplifier's impedance, and the unit is rated for 350 watts RMS with a peak power handling of 700 watts. It provides a frequency response of 30Hz to 100Hz with a sensitivity of 85dB. Designed for flexibility, the 46L7T82 can perform optimally in sealed enclosures ranging from 0.2 to 0.75 cubic feet, or in vented enclosures between 0.8 and 1.2 cubic feet. A square cutout of 7-3/8 inches is required in the baffle, with a mounting depth of 2-3/4 inches. Durability is enhanced by a ribbed Santoprene surround, a bumped top plate for extended cone travel, and a UniPlate backplate that effectively manages heat away from the voice coil.
