L86 Intake Manifold Swap Package

The GM L86 Intake Manifold Swap Package offers an excellent upgrade for factory L83 (5.3L) 2014+ GM trucks. This kit has been ported by Chuy's Porting and Performance to enhance airflow and potentially increase horsepower by 20-25 RWHP, depending on tuning. The package includes a ported GM L86 intake manifold, a ported GM L86 throttle body, a GM L86 PCV hose assembly, and a GM L86 throttle body gasket. This upgrade requires tuning for optimal performance and proper engine operation. It is crucial to note that the OEM L83 throttle body is not compatible with the L86 intake manifold; an L86 throttle body is required for L83 engines. Additionally, the factory L83 throttle body to inlet tube coupler is not compatible with this setup, and most aftermarket cold air intake packages will include the necessary larger 6.2L coupler. Attention is required during installation as the original intake gaskets must be reused. Furthermore, a specific exclusion applies to 2024 and later model trucks, which feature a different throttle body pinout. The ported L86 throttle body included in this package cannot be used with 2024 or newer vehicles. Customers with 2024 or later trucks should contact the seller for a custom bundle.
