L99 LS3 Cam Kit

The Texas Speed L99 LS3 Cam Kit provides a complete solution for converting L99 engines to a standard LS3 configuration by eliminating the problematic DOD/AFM system. This comprehensive package is ideal for owners of 6.2L engines in vehicles like the Camaro, Corvette, and L76-equipped G8 GTs who are looking to upgrade to more reliable valvetrain components. The kit includes a custom-selected Texas Speed performance camshaft, along with a .660-inch dual polished spring kit featuring integrated one-piece seats and seals with titanium retainers. Also included are 7.400-inch hardened chromoly pushrods, a Non-AFM valley cover, LS7-style lifters, and a full suite of gaskets and timing components including a 3-bolt timing gear and crank bolt. These kits fit Gen 4 LS applications ONLY and will NOT fit Gen 5 LT applications. Tuning is required when disabling the DOD/AFM system. Additionally, all included camshafts utilize a 3-bolt timing gear pattern, so the appropriate 1-to-3 bolt conversion kit is supplied for correct installation. An optional VVT delete component set is available to further streamline the timing system.
