Description

The Klein Tools VDV526-200 is a portable data cable tester designed for testing and troubleshooting RJ45 terminated cables and patch cords. It supports testing of shielded or unshielded cables including Cat7, Cat6/6A, Cat5E, and Cat3.

The tester features a large backlit LCD display for easy reading in low-light conditions, showing pin-to-pin wiremap results. It can identify pass, miswire, open-fault, short-fault, and split pair conditions. The unit includes a self-storing remote and runs on two AAA alkaline batteries.
