The Milltek Sport Large Bore Downpipe and Hi-Flow Sports Cat is engineered for the Mk3 F56 Mini Cooper S 2.0 Turbo, specifically for UK and European models manufactured between 2019 and 2020, equipped with GPF/OPF (Gasoline Particulate Filter/Otto Particulate Filter). This component is crafted from aerospace-grade type 304, non-magnetic stainless steel, ensuring exceptional durability and resistance to corrosion and discolouration. The system features a 200-cell high-flow sports catalyst and is designed to integrate seamlessly with the vehicle's original (OE) cat-back exhaust system. Milltek's signature mandrel bending technique is employed to maintain constant radius bends, optimizing gas flow and maximizing performance. The bore diameters are carefully enlarged compared to stock specifications to improve power output while preserving essential mid-range torque. Milltek Sport exhaust systems undergo rigorous acoustic development to achieve a sporty and crisp tone, free from undesirable NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness), drone, or cabin resonance.
