The NGK IZFR6K-13 Laser Iridium spark plug is engineered to deliver exceptional ignitability and extended service life. Its design incorporates a fine wire iridium-tipped center electrode and a fine wire platinum-tipped ground electrode. This combination ensures a reduced wear rate, contributing to a stable idle, enhanced resistance to fouling, improved fuel economy, and minimized emissions. Construction details include a trivalent metal plating for superior anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties, corrugated ribs to prevent flashover, and a pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator for strength and heat transfer. A copper core aids in heat removal, and triple seals prevent leakage. Key specifications include a 14mm thread diameter, 1.25mm thread pitch, gasket seat type, and a 19mm reach. The hex size is 5/8", and it features a solid terminal type with a pre-set gap of .050" (1.3mm). The center electrode is iridium, and the ground electrode is platinum. This spark plug also includes a resistor with a value of 5k Ohm and has a heat range of 6. It offers a longevity of 100,000 miles and comes with a 60-day warranty.
