They feature a fine wire iridium-tipped center electrode and a fine wire platinum-tipped ground electrode for slow wear rate, stable idle, and improved fuel efficiency.

The N75 Motorsports ILKR9Q7G is a set of four colder spark plugs, serving as a direct replacement for HKS M45XL. Constructed with a fine wire iridium-tipped center electrode and a fine wire platinum-tipped ground electrode, these plugs ensure a slow wear rate, leading to a stable idle, improved fuel efficiency, and lower emissions. The design incorporates trivalent metal plating for superior anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties, corrugated ribs to prevent flashover, and a pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator for strength and heat transfer. A copper core aids in heat removal, and triple seals prevent leakage. These spark plugs are pre-gapped to a suggested 0.025 inches by N75 Motorsports, making them ready for installation with modified vehicles. They are highly recommended for use with performance ECU calibrations, including those with flame tuning, and are noted to be as effective as HKS M45XL plugs but at a significantly lower cost. The product page emphasizes that these are not recommended for stock engines as they may cause issues. Key specifications include a 5/8 in. hex size, 26.5 mm reach, gasket seat type, and a 12 mm thread size. Notably, the UNSPSC note indicates these plugs are not suggested for SmartStream Engines.
