Laser Iridium Spark Plugs

The Weistec Spark Plugs M177 are a set of eight Laser Iridium spark plugs engineered by NGK for both high-performance applications and as a direct factory replacement. These spark plugs are specifically designed for the M177, M176, and M178 engine families, addressing the common issue of factory plugs failing to handle high cylinder pressures, which can lead to misfires even in stock vehicles. Featuring a "1 step colder" heat range, these NGK spark plugs are intended to help prevent pre-ignition in modified engines with increased power output, allowing enthusiasts to push their vehicles further. The plugs are constructed with a Laser Iridium type and have a 14mm key width, 12.0mm thread diameter, and 26.5mm thread length, with a 1mm electrode gap (which may require setting prior to installation). These spark plugs are suitable for a wide range of Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with the M177, M177 LS2, M176, and M178 engines, from stock configurations to highly modified builds. Applications include models such as the Mercedes-Benz GLS63 AMG Base (X167) from 2020 to 2025.
