The Buyers Products BTL020B2 is a drop forged lower dump hinge assembly designed for heavy-duty dump bodies. Manufactured from forged C1045 steel, it offers superior strength and ductility compared to cast alternatives, capable of withstanding repeated tailgate cycling and harsh conditions.

The hinge features a thicker rib design for added rigidity and a forged C1020 steel base for easier and more consistent welding. It welds directly to the truck to secure the lower portion of the tailgate when closed, providing stable alignment and reliable operation.
