Lava Rock Fiber Exhaust Wrap 2" x 50'

The Design Titanium exhaust wrap is constructed from pulverized lava rock stranded into a fiber material and woven into a proprietary diagonal weave. This construction ensures it is stronger and more durable than other wraps, while also being easier to install around tight bends. It secures tightly without the need for pre-wetting and does not require a DEI HT Silicone Coating. The wrap can withstand direct heat up to 1800°F and intermittent heat up to 2500°F, making it suitable for any automotive or motorcycle exhaust system. This 2-inch wide, 50-foot roll promotes increased exhaust flow for improved performance and helps reduce under-hood temperatures and vibration breakdown. Note that wrapping of the catalytic converter is not recommended, as it can reduce its lifetime. DEI does not recommend wrapping exhausts made of titanium due to the risk of making the alloy brittle and prone to cracking. For titanium exhausts, DEI suggests using flexible heat shields. It is advised to avoid wrapping flex-pipes or flex-joints.
