LB7 Twin Compound Turbo Kit

The Wehrli Custom Fabrication 2001-2004 LB7 Duramax S400/Stock Twin (Compound) Turbo Kit (WCF100570) is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of your diesel truck. This kit is designed to be 1000 RWHP capable, making it an ideal upgrade for daily driver work trucks and tow rigs that require increased horsepower, better fuel mileage, and superior Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) control, all while maintaining stock-like turbo spool characteristics. The kit includes a comprehensive array of components crafted for performance and durability. These include a 5" intake with a dry air filter and Outerwears pre-filter cover, 3.5" cold side charge piping, a 3" one-piece Y-bridge with an HD bead roll end, and a 3" cold side intercooler pipe. Fabrication details include 14g aluminum construction, powder coating options, silicone boots, T-bolt clamps, and V-band clamps. For the hot side, it features a 3" steel turbo crossover pipe, a 4" steel turbo downpipe, and high-temperature black ceramic coating on hot side pipes. The kit also comes with an atmosphere turbo pedestal with a built-in oil return fitting, a coolant overflow tank with necessary hoses and fittings, and a low coolant sensor. Stainless steel oil feed and drain lines with fittings are included for robust oil management. Installation of this kit requires the removal or relocation of the passenger side battery. Furthermore, this kit necessitates custom tuning for proper operation and optimal performance. It is highly recommended that the installation be performed by a qualified diesel performance shop or mechanic to ensure correct fitment and function.
