LE5 Throttle Body Adapter Plate

The ZZPerformance LE5 Throttle Body Adapter Plate enables the installation of a stock LSJ (2.0 supercharged) throttle body onto the LE5 intake manifold found in 2.4L Cobalts. The factory LE5 intake manifold features a 66.5mm opening, while the stock throttle body measures only 64.6mm, creating an airflow restriction. This adapter plate effectively transitions from the LSJ throttle body's 67.4mm opening to match the intake manifold. This upgrade is estimated to increase horsepower by 2-7 HP, with gains varying based on the extent of vehicle modifications. It is compatible with 2.2L engines as well. The kit includes the ZZP spacer plate with a tapered hole, a wire harness adapter, eight stainless steel socket head bolts, four stainless steel washers, and an oil-resistant O-ring. Selecting the correct year is crucial for receiving the appropriate throttle body wire adapter. ECU tuning may be required after installation to optimize performance.
