Leaf Spring

The Dobinsons Rear Leaf Spring (TOY-085-R) is engineered as a pair of heavy-duty rear leaf springs, specifically designed for vehicles needing superior load-carrying capabilities and long-term reliability under demanding conditions. Crafted from premium Sup 9 silicon manganese spring steel, these springs are manufactured to ISO9001:2008 international quality standards, ensuring longevity even in harsh environments. Key design features include drawn, tapered, and thinned leaf ends, which optimize load distribution and stress management. To further enhance performance and comfort, anti-friction inter-leaf liners are incorporated. These liners minimize friction between the leaves where loads are generated, resulting in a smoother, quieter ride experience. Dobinsons leaf springs are developed with specific vehicle models in mind, taking into account the unique load and height requirements for each application. The TOY-085-R is designed for the Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series, specifically models from 09/1999 onwards, including 79 Series variants such as FZJ79, HZJ79, HDJ79, VDJ79, and GRJ79. Note that greasable bush kits, greasable pins, and U-bolts are available separately and do not come included with these leaf springs.
