Description

The Dobinsons leaf springs (L45-002-R) are engineered for superior ride quality, durability, and load-handling performance, suitable for a wide range of vehicle types including 4x4s, trucks, commercial, and utility vehicles. Constructed from premium SUP9 silicon manganese spring steel, these leaf springs are built for long-lasting performance. The manufacturing process adheres to ISO9001:2008 international quality standards, featuring tapered and thinned leaf ends for balanced stress distribution. Key features include shot-peening and scragging to prevent sagging and increase service life, military-wrapped eyes for added strength, anti-friction inter-leaf liners for smoother and quieter operation, and high-strength alignment clips with nylon insulators and Nyloc nuts to reduce wear and noise. Compatibility is primarily for the Nissan Navara/Frontier D40 USA (2006-2022), excluding the 550 model. Note that greasable bush kits, greasable pins, and u-bolts are available separately and are not included with the leaf springs. It is recommended that new bushings and u-bolts be added when installing new leaf springs.
