LED Dimmer Controller

The Skene IQ-275 is a high-power programmable dimmer for auxiliary LED lights, proudly made in the USA. It allows for instant control over light brightness by utilizing your vehicle's existing high-low beam switch, eliminating the need for added switches and simplifying installation. This dimmer features two identical channels, each capable of powering a 144-watt (12-amp) load, or combined for a 288-watt (24-amp) load. It operates within a 12-16 Vdc input voltage range with a low current draw of only 15 milliamps. The programmable brightness range is 0-100% in 10% increments, offering flexible lighting customization. Default brightness levels can be set based on the yellow wire's connection: 10% when connected to ground, 20% when disconnected, and 50% when connected to +12V. The IQ-275 supports two primary operating modes: Driving Light Mode, where auxiliary lights dim to a programmed setting when the high beam is off and go to full power when the high beam is on, and Fog Light Mode, which turns off the auxiliary lights when the high beam is activated. It also offers an optional ALERT! feature (on the IQ-275-A model) that provides a brief, conspicuous flashing sequence for increased visibility when triggered by a double-tap of the high beam switch. Installation is straightforward with included Posi-Tap® and Posi-Twist® connectors, adhesive velcro, and a comprehensive manual. It is compatible with most aftermarket LED lights, though specific models from Rigid Industries and Denali may not function correctly due to design differences. For vehicles with factory LED headlights that may have inverted signals, such as certain BMW or KTM models, a specialized version (IQ-275X) is recommended.
