Building on the success of the SW slim subwoofer line, this IXS series model offers enhanced power and depth. Available in 10 and 12-inch sizes with various voice coil options, it allows for maximum amplifier potential. This subwoofer boasts impressive power handling, with 800W RMS and 1600W MAX, delivering dynamic performance and thunderous bass. It covers an extensive frequency range from 20 to 600Hz, accurately reproducing both subtle nuances and powerful low-frequency impacts. The 85.1dB sensitivity rating ensures efficient power conversion, producing impressive volume with less power. The dual voice coil (DVC) configuration offers increased wiring options, greater amplifier compatibility, higher power handling, improved sound quality, and enhanced bass output. Despite its shallow mount design, it fits snugly in compact spaces, requiring less box volume compared to other subwoofers of similar size. The 4-ohm impedance per coil allows for seamless integration with a wide range of car audio systems, ensuring efficient power transfer from your amplifier for optimal performance and bass response. Constructed with a paper cone, fiberglass dust cap, and stitched rubber surround, the IXS12.4D features an aluminum voice coil former and a ferrite magnet. The aluminum basket is finished in corrugated black. The recommended minimum sealed enclosure volume is 28L (1 cubic foot), providing an F3 response at 40Hz. The overall diameter is 12.6 inches, with a mounting depth of 4.33 inches.
