The SSL LOPRO10 is an amplified 10-inch subwoofer system engineered to fit into tight interior spaces where traditional boxes cannot. By combining the woofer and a powerful amplifier into a single 15.5" x 11" x 3" enclosure, it provides a solution for adding rich bass to vehicles with minimal room, such as trucks and compact cars. The system utilizes a MOSFET power supply and includes a variable low-pass filter, bass boost, and phase control, allowing users to fine-tune their audio response for a clean, full sound. Installation requires careful planning regarding placement. Note that this unit does not fit under the front seats of all vehicles, including the Jeep Wrangler TJ; some users have found better placement options behind or under rear seating configurations. Due to its compact nature, professional installation is strongly encouraged to ensure proper wiring and heat management, as the unit can generate significant heat during operation. A 4-gauge wiring kit and RCA interconnects are typically required for a complete setup, which are sold separately. It is highly adjustable, featuring both high-level and low-level inputs, making it compatible with both factory and aftermarket radio systems.
