The Polk Audio PSW10 is a 10-inch powered subwoofer engineered to provide deep, musical low frequencies for home audio setups. The unit utilizes a specialized Dynamic Balance polymer composite driver, which remains stiff during high-output performance to ensure rapid, accurate response. Its enclosure is internally braced and damped to eliminate standing waves and resonances that can rob a system of clarity, while a specifically tuned port enhances bass impact. Technical specifications include a continuous average power output of 50 watts, with a dynamic peak power of 100 watts. The system operates within a frequency range of 40Hz to 200Hz. The unit is equipped with professional-grade line-level and speaker-level inputs, as well as speaker-level outputs for versatile integration into various audio configurations. Users can fine-tune performance using the onboard amplifier controls, which include an adjustable low-pass crossover, phase switch, and dedicated volume adjustment. Smart sensing circuitry is included to automatically manage power status.
