The Flyin' Miata LED rear tail brake bulbs offer a significant upgrade over stock incandescent bulbs for your vehicle's rear tail and brake lights. These 1157R bulbs are designed to be brighter and illuminate more quickly, giving other drivers more time to react to your braking. Flyin' Miata uses Diode Dynamics LEDs, known for their high standards and reliability. These bulbs feature constant-current circuitry to protect against voltage transients and come with a three-year warranty, ensuring their longevity. They are available in two brightness options: the 280 lumen version, which is a good replacement for stock, and the 310 lumen version for maximum attention-grabbing visibility. Both options are red to match the lens color and are sold in pairs. Installation is straightforward, as they are a direct replacement for the factory 1157 bulbs. No resistors are needed to prevent hyperflash since these bulbs are not used for turn signals in this application. However, if your vehicle is equipped with cruise control and you replace all brake lights, you may need an additional 'Cruise Keeper' bulb to maintain functionality. Leaving a single incandescent bulb in place will also ensure cruise control continues to operate normally.
