The BMW Genuine Parts 16141183179 is a direct-fit, left-side fuel level sending unit engineered for the E39 5-series sedan and wagon models from 1997-2003. This genuine component accurately measures the fuel level within the saddle-shaped fuel tank, transmitting this data to your vehicle's fuel gauge. This fuel level sending unit is made in the Czech Republic and is a Genuine BMW part, ensuring it meets the stringent quality standards set by BMW. It includes the necessary rubber seal for a proper installation. For the fuel return line, it is recommended to use an 11.3mm crimp style Oetiker clamp (p/n 52545K45). This part is specifically designed for the following BMW E39 models: 525i, 528i, 530i, 540i, and M5.
