The Driveshaft Shop Level 2.9 Axles are performance-oriented components designed for extreme street and track applications, capable of handling up to 475 horsepower from forced induction or naturally aspirated K-series engines. These axles integrate technology from the Level 3 system, utilizing a new proprietary material, solid torsional center bars, chromoly spline plugs, and high-grade ball and cage inner housings for enhanced strength over traditional tripod-style inners. The outer CV joints are constructed from high-grade chromoly with a specialized heat treatment, having demonstrated exceptional durability in destructive testing. These axles are designed to fit the standard 26-spline size found on Honda/Acura platforms and include removable ABS rings. They are specifically intended for EG/EK chassis with EKK2 mounts and K-series engine swaps. It is crucial to use K20 RSX / EP Civic Si Intermediate Shaft Axles with these components. For those using EKK1 mounts, a different part number (RA4005X2 / RA4006X2) is required. The price listed is for the complete set of both left and right axles.
