Overview

The RPM Level VI transmission is a heavy-duty automatic transmission designed for 1993-2002 Camaro and F-Body models with a 4L60E, 4L65E, or 4L70E gearbox. It features a media-blasted case for durability.

Key internal upgrades include an RPM 3-4 clutch pack, reinforced sunshell with collar and bearing, GM 5-pinion planetary gearsets for both front and rear, a billet 4th gear servo, and a heavy-duty double-caged 29-element sprag. It also incorporates a Transgo HD-2 shift kit and a wide 2-4 band.

The RPM Level VI transmission is a robust automatic gearbox engineered to handle higher performance demands for 1993-2002 Camaro and F-Body vehicles equipped with a 4L60E, 4L65E, or 4L70E transmission. This Level VI unit features a media-blasted case for enhanced durability and is extensively upgraded internally. Key components include an RPM sleeved input drum, an RPM 3-4 clutch pack, and RPM's reinforced sunshell with a collar and bearing. The transmission is equipped with GM 5-pinion planetary gearsets for both front and rear applications, a billet 4th gear servo for improved engagement, and a heavy-duty, double-caged 29-element sprag for increased strength. A Transgo HD-2 shift kit is included, along with a wide 2-4 band and a billet over-run piston. Further enhancements contribute to its performance and reliability, such as the 4L65E low roller clutch, a Corvette servo, an updated aluminum accumulator piston, and a 300M hardened output shaft. The transmission also comes with a bushing kit, new shift solenoids, a new wiring harness, and a new GM valve body spacer plate. The unit is completed with a GM filter, seal & gasket kit, and is dyno-tested before shipping to ensure quality. **Important Note:** To receive your new transmission, you must send a core transmission to RPM within 30 days.
