StopTech Big Brake Kits are performance braking systems for enthusiasts, engineered with a Balanced Brake Upgrade® approach. They consider the vehicle's hydraulic system, master cylinder size, weight transfer, and tire contact patch to optimize braking torque, ensuring maximum traction and stopping performance. Calipers are available in 2-piston, 4-piston, and 6-piston configurations, with internal pistons sized for each chassis. They are rigid, reducing flex, vibration, and noise, and provide faster braking response and even pad wear. Calipers come in blue, black, silver, red, or yellow. The kits include patented Aerorotors with specially shaped internal cooling vanes for efficient airflow, offered as slotted or cross-drilled, and with or without an anti-corrosion zinc coating. Standard kits come with Sport pads (aggressive street compound with excellent initial bite, moderate torque, and low-moderate dust). Model-specific stainless steel brake lines with PTFE/Teflon liners and abrasion-resistant PVC covers are also included. Calipers are mounted with hardcoat anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum brackets and stainless steel studs for proper fitment and rigidity.

StopTech also offers Trophy and C43 CBK kits. Trophy Sport kits are for street use, while Trophy Race and CBK kits are for racing/track use, featuring lighter calipers and rotors, a dark grey hard-anodized finish, and different rotor hardware. Trophy Race and CBK kits do not have caliper dust seals and may be noisier. C43 kits offer BBK-levels of performance in a smaller, lighter package, fitting under 17" (and sometimes 16") wheels. Rotors are replaceable for cost-effective maintenance. StopTech products are designed, tested, and manufactured in California, earning industry awards, TUV approvals, and ISO certifications.
