The Modern Driveline LF Series Hydraulic Clutch Master Cylinder Kit provides a comprehensive solution for upgrading to a hydraulic clutch system in your 1967-1972 Ford F-Series truck. This kit addresses common challenges with classic trucks, such as thin firewall sheet metal that can flex under pedal pressure. The master cylinder itself features a .700 bore and a 1.4" stroke, engineered to generate sufficient fluid volume for most aftermarket external or internal slave cylinders. This setup optimizes the full pedal stroke, leading to better clutch control and a smooth, light pedal feel. The integral reservoir design contributes to a clean firewall appearance and simplifies installation. Each kit comes complete with the master cylinder, linkage, lines, and comprehensive instructions, including a unique One-Man-Bleeder Kit. For optimal performance, this kit relies on the factory components being in good working order; any modifications or damage to the firewall, pedal, or pedal hanger may affect the master cylinder's performance. The system is compatible with DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid.
