LHD 4-1 Stepped Medusa Headers

The Evolve LHD 4-1 Stepped Medusa Manifolds are performance exhaust headers specifically designed for Left Hand Drive BMW E39 M5 models equipped with the S62 V8 engine. The factory exhaust manifolds are identified as a significant restriction, and upgrading them is crucial for any meaningful power gain from the exhaust system. Constructed from T304 Stainless Steel in Italy, these headers feature a 4-1 stepped design. This design is engineered to optimize the power band across all RPMs, enhancing the S62 engine's inherent strong torque from 2000-5000rpm while also increasing power above 5000rpm by an estimated 25-40hp. The manufacturer claims a minimum gain of 30 hp and 27 lb/ft of torque when used independently, with potential to reach 445 bhp / 400+ lb/ft when combined with Evolve software and intake systems. It is essential that these headers are used in conjunction with Evolve Sports Cats or De-Cats.
