The Flyin' Miata lift kit, developed with Paco Motorsports, offers a bolt-on solution to increase the ride height of NA and NB Miatas. This kit extends the lower shock mounting point, providing a 3-inch lift in the front and a 3.25-inch lift in the rear. This lift allows for the fitment of larger tires, with up to 25.5-inch diameter tires suitable for an NA Miata without fender modifications. However, on late NB models, the front fascia may interfere with larger tires, and some vehicles might require minor modifications. The kit is 100% reversible and does not increase suspension travel; it simply elevates the vehicle's stance. Note that the increased ride height will alter alignment, limiting negative camber potential, which may be unsuitable for track-focused alignments but ideal for gravel or dirt road setups. Installation is straightforward, but potential challenges may arise with specific wheel fitments or spring/shock assemblies. Some stock wheels, such as 14-inch daisies and certain 2001 15-inch wheels, can interfere with stock springs at full droop. Installation with stock shocks may require significant effort to align the upper mounts at full droop, and some shock-to-control arm contact is possible with certain configurations. Additional components like extended lower ball joints and adjustable rear upper control arms are available for builds requiring extreme camber with a high ride height, though not typically necessary for most applications.
