It is constructed from durable ductile steel with a black e-coating for corrosion resistance. This kit maintains the factory ride quality by design, achieved by raising the wheel mounting position and allowing the A-arms to retain their original angles. The installation is straightforward, designed as a simple bolt-on process that utilizes all factory hardware. This particular lowering spindle offers a 2-inch drop for the front of the vehicle. It is sold as a pair and is available for hundreds of applications from 1973 and up. The construction involves 6082 T-6 aircraft-grade aluminum or ductile iron, ensuring robustness and longevity. The product requires 22-inch aftermarket rims or larger with 6 inches of backspacing or less. Standard mount factory 20-inch or larger rims will fit, but reverse mount rims will not. Some factory 22-inch rims may contact at the spokes, and ball joint trimming might be necessary. Maxtrac Suspension advises against using wheels wider than 9 inches or wheels with less than 4.5 inches of backspacing, as doing so will void the manufacturer's warranty.
