Description

The STRONG ARM D6961 is a universal lift support designed for automotive applications such as hoods, hatches, and rear window glass. Each lift support is custom engineered and manufactured to exceed industry standards for smoother operation and longer-lasting performance. They are individually tested for reliability and built with a hardened, nitride-plated steel shaft for durability.

The lift support features a heavy gauge steel body that is electrostatically painted and heat cured to OE specifications. It also includes a rubber O-ring piston seal to prevent leakage, ensuring controlled lift and consistent performance. The self-cleaning piston assembly promotes smooth operation and enhanced reliability, while the upper bushing is precision-manufactured for an exact fit and extended operating life. No special installation tools are required.
